Skeleton Tree

It was a lovely morning. I hung some washing out, but wasn’t sure it would dry as the temperature has really dropped today. It got a good blow in the wind though, as it has been quite breezy.

TT went to church, and later in the morning I went down town for a few things, including for lunch. I treated myself to something from the new flower shop which opened a few weeks ago.

I ate my lunch while reading the paper, and was very grateful that I wasn’t working. I suggested to TT that we go over to the coast for a walk, but alas he had to work as he had marking to do. Later on, I went out for a walk around a local circuit. Gloves and scarf were required, and maybe even a hat, but I didn’t have one handy.

We were meeting friends for dinner in a nearby village. We caught a bus, which took us in a very circuitous route, which would have been quite nice, except it was dark!

We got to our destination, and had a lively evening, with good company, good food and good drink! We had booked a taxi to take us home, and that all worked out well.

We weren’t home too late, do I watched an episode of Slow Horses. I’m ready to start series 3 now.

I like when the structure of trees is revealed at this time of year.
