Bows and roses

These earrings are really heavy. And a little gaudy, but I like that. It's so much of everything. I like their muchness. 
I'm going to wear them along with my new red velvet dress (alright alright, it's velour and polyester) later in december on the evening of our choir concert. 
Deep red lipstick, gaudy earrings, black stockings, red velvety dress. I'm aiming for the feeling of a primadonna, with my soprano voice and everything (but don't say that to my choir leader..).

Today I decided to limit my social media use, so naturally I've done close to nothing else but scrolling and chatting. That's ok. That's fine. I'm fine. I'm fine. It's the doomscrolling I really need to put and end to. We'll see how it goes.
