Bright and cold

No snow here this morning - though there is some further north, which is early , at least in recent times.

But there was a thick frost , with a bright moon diminishing the starscape, though not bright enough to completely overshadow Venus just below it and very visible in the south in an almost clear sky half an hour before dawn.
