A lovely Blipmeet, coffee and tour of the former Edinburgh Royal  Infirmary, now the Edinburgh Futures Institute. Huge thanks to Ridegeback13 for the inside track on the redevelopment of the building and the vision for it in 21st century. It is indeed open to all so if you happen to be in Edinburgh go and have a look. There's an online self guided tour if you aren't fortunate enough to have such a knowledgeable tour guide. My train home was cancelled so I had time to hang around Waverley for a while. Prior to that I'd had a successful visit to a delightful but terribly pricey shop. I was looking for a scarf. I bought two. Then on the way home I discovered that I'd lost one of my favourite earrings. Grr.
