Cotoneaster salicifolius rothschildianus

A grey day, a grey Monday, but not too cold - yet ......
Had a wander outside in the rain and spotted this shrub along with a red berried one bordering our cess pit over the garden hedge. Full of berries which is quite surprising as there were virtually no apples or plums this year.  The Cotoneaster is native to western China where it grows on mountain slopes named after one of the Rothschild family for some reason, perhaps they discovered it.
