Bright Spot

On a cold, grey and sometimes wet day.

A cutting from my plant of Dionysia aretioides, flowering out of season as seems to be the norm here.  It's tiny!

A slow start before another session glazing at pottery.  I managed to complete two more pieces before the kiln was fired, my time there broken by calls from the contractors at Ruth's and Mum's care agency manager plus assorted follow up messages.  

An afternoon at home with Ruth.   Some admin and a long snooze.   Jamie came over for tea.  

Mum's mobility hasn't improved.  Two carers per visit.  I will be seeking a chat with a GP tomorrow - or a home visit at Mums'.   One of my brothers will be at mum's tomorrow after being out of the country for a while.  Family pulling together at a time of crisis.
