Ready

I would have happily waited a little longer but with a half full kiln waiting to be fired, I have spent the evening glazing pots from 8 til after 11pm when I should have been getting an early night.  It was a much needed peaceful evening nonetheless. The kiln will be fired early afternoon tomorrow so I might get a something else done in the morning unless overtaken by events elsewhere.

After a leisurely soak in the bath I headed off to Jamie's for a late breakfast of home made Scotch Pancakes.   This ran on almost until lunch time when I took Jamie to an afternoon of making music on violin and sax at different groups.  Thoughts that I might have done the glazing this afternoon were repeatedly thwarted by conversations with family, mostly in London regarding Mum.   No real change but that means no improvement and without Ruth and I there, my niece was concerned when Mum was sick again.   By early evening an out of hours GP had checked her over following a 111 call that came to me following an online request.   We'll be in touch with her GP again this week.

Bedtime now.  Very late again :-/
