Opera

A day in the beautiful city of Gent. After an afternoon strolling around the city centre we went to see the opera Barzakh.
The opera Barzakh - in contrast with Fidelio - sketches an image of the real world of prisoners. Our son T encouraged and facilitated prisoners to write down their experiences. Director Thomas Bellinck used this for his libretto. A moving and necessary piece of art.
