Sally Mair - Loving life

Tiny Fingers

Ali picked me up late morning and we headed out (with lots of extra layers on) to take the girls to the dentist. Josie coped much better this time and got a sticker!
The dentist checked both of Bonnie's teeth too.
What a cold day it's been, we were glad to pop into the Red Kite cafe where they are always so welcoming, and warm up with a coffee for the grown ups and a chocolate milk for Josie, extra .
I had to speak to the vet for About today, she was too upset.
She'd had a letter from the insurers to say they were not covering Pickles last (in fact only) illness, as the policy had lapsed. We knew it hadn't, but these things can be very visceral when they come at you out of the blue and Ali was too upset to deal with it.
It didn't take me long and she actually got a very nice apology email, saying sorry for any upset caused by their error. Shame it happened in the first place though . I insisted that they also wrote to the vet saying the mistake in refusing payment was theirs. Ali will still have to deal with the vet in the future, for Marvin and we don't want there to be any problem because they have been refused payment .
I've had a headache this evening and it was reflected in my poor bridge playing. We still came third, but it definitely affected me.
