I voted.

There is a provincial election on November 26. They have had advance polls open since early November. The government did not send out any voter information cards this year because of the threat of a postal strike, which only happened late last week. During the early voting you can go to any polling station in the province to cast your vote. They do not have any online voting available.

We managed to get one property raked today, despite the wind. I'm tired tonight, I might not have done any of the raking on the property but I helped take 440 kg of leaves off the truck. We filled the back of the truck 3 times.

The garage has been cleaned out, except for the garbage that will get put out tomorrow and the pile of stuff to be donated to charity. The pots and garden related things in the furnace room have all been moved. There was enough room on the truck on the last load to put the boxes that I had packed in the living room. The remaining boxes should fit in one load. I put most of the bathroom stuff into shopping bags tonight and took them over and put them away.

When we were cleaning out the furnace room, one of the guys found a snakeskin in almost perfect shape. Yes, there had been a snake down there. I hope that he found a better spot to live, and that I don't find him in the spring when I start getting rid of all the extra pots.

I had soil delivered this afternoon. Tomorrow we clean up the back garden beds, add the soil and plant most of what is ready to be planted. Some things for the front yard will be given a temporary home until the new front step and railings are complete.

I am tired tonight, the 4 am insomnia is catching up with me.
