Yarn bombing

The beautiful weather continues unabated, an advantage of which being you can sit outdoors until 11pm in short sleeves - which is what we did this evening with friends sampling really good Japanese food in their local pub in Brentford.

Brentford is looking very cosy at the moment, adorned as it is. I thought this might be called guerilla knitting, it is in fact 'yarn bombing'. Nothing war-like or sinister here, just a celebration of the new Sunday market that has opened in the last few weeks. The local residents like it so much that it's staying.
