Here's looking at you ....

Woke up ridiculously early and couldn't get back to sleep until, of course, Shipping Forecast. Didn't wake again till nearly 7 but if anyway decided not to swim as the car was covered in frost. Brrr!

Tried to work in the office but the internet kept letting me down so back to the 'dining' table with curtains closed against the c sun. 

While say working, mostly in next steps, including a couple of meetings. A lot of emails were sent. 

I also hung up the washing in the clothes horse,  froze most of the chicken rendang, apart from the portion for dinner, and made a huge pan of broth. It's a week for broth. I also shifted Friday's outing from Prestonfield to the much more economical Garden Centre. At least some shopping can be done there. The only time I was over the door was to cover the car's windscreen. Had to defrost first! 

Watched 'Only Connect'. Got the first question right. That's a first. Then more of the French serial till I switched back to the News and fell asleep with Willow on my lap.
