Blown Away

A day of gales and heavy rain. Before the worst storm arrived, I carried all the big oleander and olive plants into the carport, where they will spend the winter. 

Later, while I worked in my office, this pretty leaf got stuck to the wet roof window for a few minutes. I quickly took pictures. Against the sky, the complicated pattern of veins looked especially pretty. 

Extra: The leaf stuck to the glass, and the exact moment of it getting blown away by the wind.
