Sunrise and Lindisfarne

I was up at 5.15 !!! We were meeting 6.30 to go and photograph the sunrise behind Dunstanburgh Castle. Thankfully there was no snow or ice but there was a piercing wind. I found shelter behind a pill box. We walked along the beach which was so full of foam to get to the spot at 7am.
After a delicious breakfast we went to Lindisfarne . I went to the Gertrude Jekyll garden just by the castle. A fabulous day so lucky with the weather. Had to have a sleep this afternoon so no sunset today. Sunrise tomorrow again
