Those buttons

I’m just working on the third of a trio of blocks - I’m almost caught up with the 52 Challenge and at this late stage have realised what a good idea it is to co-ordinate the trios that will be together on a page!

As soon as Yorkshire Buttons were mentioned I remembered learning to do these two years ago and really enjoying them. The piece on the right is from that time - then I made some of them into actual buttons. I always liked that piece. This time I think I will leave them with the open loops and sew them onto the background like that.

One day I might make a set of buttons - if I can think of something to sew them onto!


A fair bit of cleaning done between us this morning, then I was ready for an hour of making buttons, there was just enough light left in the day. It’s been a cold but bright day, we seem to have missed out on the snow.
