It snowed

Quite a lot in the night.  We woke to a Winter Wonderland and I didn't think we'd be able to get back to M&S, but the roads cleared and we did and I got my dress, size 14 tall, which I'm glad to say is just right.

On the way home we called in to see friend Rose and had a cuppa.  She had her fire lit and it was hard to leave the lovely warmth a real fire always give. 

As lovely as a fall of snow looks I always feel sorry for the workers, farmers, the animals, wildlife and all who have to struggle in bad weather.  Very glad we can hunker down and admire the beauty. ..... and feed and water our birds.
