Leith history mural
Today Caitlin kindly worked from home at our home (rather than from her own in Portobello). This gave us the opportunity this morning to go to the cinema to see Heretic, starring Hugh Grant.
I have followed Grant's career with interest ever since I saw him for the first time in Maurice in 1987. This was seven years before his 'overnight success' in Four weddings and a funeral. The reason for my early interest in him is that he and Mr hazelh looked very alike when younger. This was so obvious that in 1994 friends that we hadn't heard from for years were prompted to ring to enquire about Mr hazelh's new acting career. Also around this time, strangers would occasionally approach Mr hazelh in public to comment on his looks. It's hysterical that in Grant's latest film, the character that he plays shares Mr hazelh's surname!
Anyway, we both enjoyed the film. Mr hazelh was especially keen on it. Grant is a great 'baddie' in what is essentially a horror movie centred on questions of faith and belief. We were also very happy to have the whole auditorium to ourselves at the 10:30 screening at Ocean Terminal today.
This afternoon we were also pleased to be able to pop to the library (to return Cuddy and Pity - both great), and to go for a run knowing that Mummy hazelh had company while we were out.
I blipped the Leith history mural on our walk to the cinema this morning.
Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; 45 minute run; walking (22,593 steps, including run).
