Despite the snowfall, we made it to the hospital for my follow up without too many issues, finding a parking spot was a whole different story…….

C dropped me off so I was in on time.
I was still sat in the waiting area when he finally joined me a half hour later.

My surgeon was happy with his handywork & my progress so far……. have a sheet of 7 different exercises to do daily, 5 i’ve been doing since day one ;-) the other two however will require some work & determination.No pain no gain!

He & the nurse were having a conversation about taking me to the plaster room, so I sighed & said does that mean i’ve got to go back in plaster again? He looked at me quizzically & said “splint?” needless to say I said yes please if that’s ok……. so 4 more weeks in a splint, take it off to do the exercises, will hopefully see me done the right side of xmas :-D

I was pleased to see my scar looking neat, just a small dressing reapplied until Friday, then I can wash/shower etc.

Have to say I was quite surprised at just how flat my arm & hand are lol
