Brilliant day/night out in Nottingham today

H, C’s daughter bought her Dad tickets to see one of his most favourite bands, UB40,
for his birthday back in May. This will be the fifth time he’s seen them, although the last time was over 10 years ago!

The gig was this evening, UB40 were supported by both the Young Culture Band, who were really good, & the 80s iconic Soul 11 Soul & yes they did Back to Life & Keep on moving :-)

Earlier we did a bit of xmas shopping, an early dinner in Zizi’s, a nice glass of red, then a walk to the Motorpoint Arena.

We had great seats, thoroughly enjoyed both support bands, UB40 were another level though, so tight & their newish lead vocalist, Matt Doyle, is undeniably a great
choice, he sounds so similar & fits in perfectly . He writes a decent song too!
