Vertigo!

After a serious start to the day involving several important phone calls, I needed some fresh air. The temps being decidedly chilly, the Pogies (hand muffs, or upon being invented by Craig Vetter "Hippo Hands") were loosely fitted to Biscuit's handlebars and I considered how they could be made to better fit. Some Bar Ends would help so the little bike that can bimbled me over to J&S in Droylsden to see what they had.

The sales assistant was decidedly not very cheerful and who knows why but they had a basic pair on the shelf that would work so I purchased some, trilled an overly jolly "Thankyoooo!" to the misery guts before heading back away from the city to call at parents for a frothy coffee. Peggy Sue didn't have her lampshade on which was good although she did try scratching a few times. An improvement all the same.

After returning home and finishing off fitting the Pogies, it was nice to now find lots of space inside for my summer gloved hands.

Eldest has been going indoors climbing with some of her friends recently but they couldn't go this week. So after tea I asked if she fancied going to a wall in nearby Stockport and she did, in fact the whole household did, other Mrs BB & youngest spectating from the cafe.

It's based in Pear Mill, Stockport and the main blip is the highest set of routes they have...not for us! We went on the bouldering walls which are only 3 metres high and don't need ropes. The extra looks more adventurous than the reality because I couldn't get much further, maybe next time!
