Different perspective
Crazy though I know it is, I walked my usual lunchtime route in reverse today. Bonkers, eh?!
I had a quick trip down to Lancaster for a client meeting this morning before all that though. Felt quite bad for the chap in question as he’s having a tough time in all senses and is desperately in need of a break from it all.
We had a nice open conversation though and he seemed to be smiling by the end of it. Unless it was the thought of me leaving, which helped with the smile…..
Back home and I got a few things sorted before taking the topsy turvy wander and in a bid to halt the advance of the waistband, like a hero, I resisted the call of Kakaw. It’s nice seeing the usual sights from a different perspective (extra) - even the river with which I am so familiar.
Rounded the day off with a fun evening with the wee ones (even got some help peeling the spuds for our bangers n mash tea - Asda sausages are rubbish) before we finished watching the first Transformers film, which they both loved.
As Mondays go, that wasn’t too bad….
