Snow is falling, all around me ....

It was raining hard when we went to bed last night, so we were very surprised to awake to a snowy landscape, with the snow still falling very heavily. This photo of my mum's garden was taken at about  9am when the snow was easing off, only to be followed by steady light rain, which meant the snow soon melted. We popped over to my aunty's flat to check it was ok and, usefully,bumped into the new estate agent who will be marketing it for us. After answering  a few questions he had about the property we left him alone, and returned to my mum's house to pack up our things and drive back to Winchester. Fortunately we found no more snow ( I don't think Winchester had had any ) on our journey, just spray and drizzle. Oh to be back in Australia or New Zealand !
