Happy Hour With Chicken

We had company for dinner, and one of the chickens was appreciating the very good Detour Double IPA.  It was a very full day, what with all the food prep in the afternoon and gardening in the morning. I was trying to batten things down against the upcoming atmospheric river,  which I think we used to call rain, moving the yard furniture to a sheltered area, sweeping up stray leaves, general tidying of the area. I’m eager to see if the work our neighbor did on the fence will keep the back garden from flooding this year, so bring it on.
