'Meeting Points'

Another beautiful clear and frosty morning. 

I particularly enjoyed my jog round the park shortly after sunrise today, and I went even slower than usual to savour the subtle smells and changes in the air and to take in the views. (extra)

A thin layer of ice had spread over parts of the pond. Small waves bounced onto the icy surface at the edges, where the already icy water met the ice, only to slide back again - each time adding a tiny layer to the ice already there.....
