Is it a bird?

Is it a plane?  Always something in the skies over London.  And this morning a fiery dawn.

Nothing in my diary today (unusual!) so first I went to Michelangelo Leonardo Raphael at the Royal Academy, a small but perfectly formed exhibition.  It's amazing that they were all in Florence in 1504.  The young Raphael was there to learn from the two competing "masters".

Then I popped across the road into Fortnum & Mason to ogle the wonderful Christmas displays.

15 minutes on the Elizabeth Line (I love the Elizabeth Line!) took me to Canary Wharf, where the wind was freezing but the sun was shining.  I visited the Museum of London Docklands and took lots of pictures along the old docks of ancient and contemporary buildings.

10 minutes on the Elizabeth Line back to the flat in Farringdon.  Walking through our front door was like walking from the Arctic into the Tropics.  The flat has floor to ceiling windows facing east and south.  It catches every ounce of warmth, most welcome today.
