Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Eye see you!

I had a rude awakening this morning.
I'd set my alarm for 7. 30 so I could be up and waiting at 8. 30 when Ali arrived with Bonnie. She had a hair appointment in town at 9 so I said I'd drive her up to it and then bring Bonnie back here until after was finished.
I woke and rolled over and realised my clock said 8.20! I'd somehow set the alarm for tomorrow not today. I leapt out of bed, threw on yesterday's clothes (most of them, not the undies that would be too much!) and got to the door just as Ali drew up. Aargh, what a shock to the system, not least because the thermometer said -1 and my bed had been a little warmer than that. Fortunately I wake up very quickly so was on the ball.
All was accomplished in time though and I brought Bonnie back here.
Once we got in, I popped her in the playpen while I made a quick cup of coffee in order to become semi-human again.
We played until just after 10.00 then it was time for her nap. When I woke her at 11. 45 are gave me a huge smile. She played in the playpen again, she's on her feet (I'd say back feet but she only has two, if you know what I mean you'll need to visualise I'm afraid) while crawling now so it won't be long till she's up and away I don't think.
I prepared lunch which she wolfed down rewarding me with this lovely smile at the end!
Her Mum arrived back looking lovely, and she got even better smiles.
They are both upstairs now having an afternoon nap and I've come through to the bedroom too. This means that it's an early blip from me today, if anything exciting happens over the rest of today I'll add it later, lol.
