Mushrooming

The weather forecast was poor so we decided to stay local for our Wednesday walk and not climb up to the cloud base. We walked up through the woods to the next village and returned over the col. In all we were out for a little over four hours climbing 400 metres. There were lots of mushrooms in the woods and I collected quite a few but only kept the saffron milk caps and the parasol mushrooms which I have prepared and used to make soup tomorrow.
