Wild mushroom soup
I spent the morning in the kitchen, first making the bread and then the soup. I decided to keep the two varieties of mushroom separate rather than mixing them so as to judge their taste. Both turned out well, but I slightly prefer the saffron milk cap (lactaire délicieux) soup to the parasol mushroom (coulemelle) soup. I played some tennis in the afternoon. My partner was on top form and I struggled to match his level today. I am having a bit of a problem with blip at the moment in that my iPhone photos don’t seem to load. The message says that a photo is being uploaded but there is no percentage indicator and the upload stalls. Then I have to cut and paste my text and photo, email them to myself and then upload via the computer or iPad.
