I hear thunder.

The day started with a covering Scotch mist. It lifted pretty quickly to leave a surprisingly bright and sunny morning. I went to Rosemarkie Café with Cilla and some new friends and sat on the lovely,comfortable wooden benches and had a latte to drink.
I spotted the yacht ,in the distance,on the Marine traffic app and watched it sail pass the bay .It had a bright yellow hull which is unusual.
The beach was alive with lots going on including a man with a sunhat reading a book while a whole toddler group gathered on the green behind him to have a picnic. There were people sipping drinks and chatting away, people walking their dogs on the beach and families enjoying the play area. I feel that it is a scene that has changed little over the last 100 years. I thought this photo would work well in sepia.
By lunchtime we could hear rumbles of thunder in the distance and we watched to storm clouds coming up the Firth .We had a downpour of rain and then the sun came out again.
