And the rain came down.
At long last we have had some decent rain. Well a couple of downpours really with a touch of sun in between. I'm glad that I will not need to water tonight and the plants already look like they appreciated it.
This cranes bill geranium is still blooming well and has plenty of buds left to come out. The colours of the garden are changing to the yellows and oranges of early Autumn. I have found that a lot of the flowers have been short lived this year including the lupins but have new buds forming ready for a second flush.
We've been sorting through the boxes we had in the garage and discovering things we had forgotten about including Mikes old marble collection and thunderbird figures.
I saw a deer yesterday in the field and managed to get some photos as he came face to face with the pheasant and was hoping to see it again today. David saw it as he walked up the hill last night when he returned from a trip to Aberdeen.
A lot cooler now and less humid.
