Perfect message

No luck getting home today. Lots of ferry cancellations on all routes. I phoned to see if there was a chance of getting on the only other one to Salt Spring at 7:30 pm. There wasn’t. I made a reservation for tomorrow morning. The storm hit some parts of the west coast of Vancouver Island really hard, many power outages and trees down. G and I were both disappointed that I couldn’t get home today. I had dozed for maybe 10 minutes on the flight and was wide awake just after midnight, so I’m quite tired this afternoon. I think that I’ll sleep well tonight!
Renata, Spencer and I went for a walk, and I spotted this little rock at the edge of a driveway. I completely agree with the message, and it was so appropriate for all the special moments we ‘collected’ on the trip. I’m not one for collecting things.
