daughter-in-law (to be)

Chris was out of the country on business, so Rose came to our house for tea/supper/dinner. We walked to the Italian restaurant in town.  

She brought us to speed with the plans for the wedding and we brought her up to speed with our ailments. 

We then walked home, getting in our post-tea/supper/dinner exercise (see yesterday's blip). So a very productive evening all round.
