Berry red

This red fruit is on a small tree that is common in our part of Brisbane, especially as a street tree. They are presently covered in red berry fruits. It's a species of Lilly Pilly, possibly Syzygium leuhmanii - a local rainforest plant. The fruit is said to be edible. Riberry is a common name.
