The Sun Peaked Through
I was at my book group meeting on this very dreary cloudy day when suddenly the sky lightened, we felt the brightness before we realized there would be a sunset. We had just been talking about the unending clouds so we were delighted to close our meeting and enjoy the view for the last minutes of our time together. We are still grieving the death of our longtime friend and member of our group, but we were able to talk about the chapter in our book and how it might help us express and deal with our feelings. Each of us expressed gratitude for our group and our time together.
Wednesdays at my friend's house it is easy to get a wide-angle shot for the Wide Angle Wednesday challenge; however, the theme of "straight" may not fit this photo. I had planned to stand on the Golf Tee behind my house and take a photo toward the green, saying something about every golfer wanting a Straight Shot to this hole. But I ran out of time before I left for my group time and it was too dark when I got home. Oh well, Bob, this will have to do.
