First frost here

And a red dawn which was much redder than this suggests. I’m standing in the garden in my dressing gown, feeling a bit chilly. The birds are all telling me to fill up the feeders. It’s suddenly gone from a bit of extra food, to something they really need. 
An ok day, still avoiding the news and listening to podcasts about other things.  A busy afternoon at Oxfam, not many fiction donations so I worked on children’s books for a couple of hours.  Found a few Christmas presents for my neighbours children. 
Cooked a nice tea including my new favourite vegetable - cavolo nero. Then an evening catching up on people’s blip journals, always interesting and informative.
