Low afternoon sun 15:03.

I had my first Physio session at the hospital this morning after a check up with the nurse. I was pleased when the Physio said to me, watching me walking, “You are doing very well”.
He has given me a new exercise plan to follow in order to strengthen the muscles in my right hip and leg.
It was a beautiful crisp clear frosty sunny beginning to the day,
All the cars parked along the road were covered in frost and a layer of light sparkling snow on top from during the night.
Where the frost has melted during the day, it is now refreezing on the pavements and no doubt side roads which are not gritted,
I can never understand why our road, with its large two schools shared site, is never done.
We went straight to our favourite hostelry for lunch and sat by a log fire which was burning in the grate. Cosy.
I celebrated with a small glass of wine as I now no longer need to take any pain medication, which is incredible really.
I do obviously get tired and the site of the operation can ache, but settles down with rest.
Night times are still a thing of interrupted sleep, but the gaps are beginning to increase bit by bit. I still have my mug of tea and a biscuit around 3-00am-4.00am. It is very comforting,
And tomorrow is three weeks since my operation, hard to believe!
