Coffee at 6 in the dark is getting to be a habit. I get to watch the garbage truck go by once....then twice. 

I've waited to get my laundry out this week. I didn't want the dust from the yard cleanup to affect my clothing on the line. Now, there's just some branches left on the ground for the crew to collect from my desert willow. So, the washer is on the go this morning. 

I'll have a home day. My feet have had enough activity already this week. 

I'm birding in the backyard between loads of laundry. I have followed some white-crowned sparrows around the landscaping. My surprise was finding a mocking bird walking along the top of the fence. It's not singing yet, but I am delighted it's here.
