Alpine Village?!

This morning I made a quick trip to Kingston and this is the ‘Alpine Village’ in the churchyard. The tents on the right house a variety of stalls and on the left are stalls selling refreshments. This has been the custom for several years. I did walk round the stalls last week but nothing that I needed to buy!

We had an our first real frost overnight, the water in some plant saucers in the garden was frozen so chilly at -1C at 9 am. Also the last of the impatiens were killed off so I’ve put them in the green bin. But they have lasted since June. Unlike the poinsettia I bought not long ago from Tesco…it had a label saying guaranteed for 21 days and I did keep the receipt because of this. I may take it back as it’s less than 10 days old and ask for a refund!

This afternoon I did some shopping in Teddington .
Christmas cards from a charity shop etc.

We are having friends for supper so need to get on with helping the ‘cook’ , organise the table etc.
