Mooring up
With the nasty weather forecast, severla ships have clearly decided to sit any weather out in the shelter of the bay. At low tide, as here, the deceptively gentle beach reveals the nasty reef - Long Rock after which the nearby village is named - that has snared many ships over the years.
Almost dark by the time we got back to the car so a pint in the excellent adjacent Mexico Inn seemed appropriate.
