Juvenile Blackbird
Another freezing cold day, but with a windchill that takes it way below zero. Last nights snow missed Edinburgh completely. Still a lot of frost. A nice morning walk in the sunshine, avoiding the bitter winter in the shade. In a garden this juvenile blackbird was curious. Not really a good thing. Better to sound the alarm call and fly off.
In the afternoon, partner takes the wee female cat, who has an upset tummy, down to the vet. I have to work until later in the afternoon, then have a wee walk on my own. Very cold, so on with the winter coat. The walk is combined with a visit the big wine shop for red wine. It is Wine Wednesday after all.
