Puzzle day

A terrible nights sleep.. at some awful time I was woken by an electronic noise.. I had to get up to work out it was the telephone running out of batter and it was shouting loudly to tell me to put it back into the holder properly.  I was grateful for the bright moon and stars illuminating my way downstairs but my feet nearly froze!!  What a cold night it was.. I don't think I ever really warmed up again after that. 
So, a quiet day was had. Jigsaws were involved.  Painting was involved, cooking was involved and some very brief gardening was involved.. only to clear the satellite dish of bits of rose so that we could get the tv working!
