It was my Great Granddaughter’s 2nd birthday yesterday and this is the official photograph of her, my granddaughter and her husband. They live in Muscat in Oman where my granddaughter teaches at an international school for local children. 
 She herself was educated in Oman but has a degree from Stirling University. Her Mum is Porty daughter.

I had a leisurely get up this morning and toddled down to M&S for coffee and a look around at what was on offer for Christmas presents. I find it very depressing that I am weak enough to feel pressurised in the middle of November to think about Christmas presents.
In protest, I came home with some McSween’s Black Pudding, broccoli, and child’s meal of spaghetti bolognaise,reduced in price, so no concessions to Christmas .

I can’t believe Friday has come around again but at least I can look forward to the TGIF drinks with the complete ensemble at the Marriott Hotel. Fingers crossed they remember they let us in last week and allow us through the doors today.
