Another indoor day

Another day of getting small jobs done, mainly indoors. Processing the insurance claim for the damage to the car the other day (definitely an expensive mistake, as I realised when I heard the horrible scraping noise). Doing some tidying-up in the house, as we have an old friend coming to stay for a few days from Sunday. Making a Blurb photobook, now that there are discounts available this week.
Usually I'm keen to get out with the camera when there are snowy scenes. But the roads and pavements have stayed so icy, yesterday and today, that I haven't wanted to go further than the garden.
I do like watching hydrangea flowers through the seasons, changing colour but keeping their shape: they're oddly robust, though I wonder whether tomorrow's forecast wind and rain will see this one off.
