The finally productive day!

Morning run with H and, on his bike, Flo. Went North along the canal - to the Stade de France!

The SDS drill WAS able to cope with the concrete. Refitted the evil vintage light. And the open wardrobe structure. And the 3m curtain pole and 100 floating shelves. And the BIG mirror.
In a break with tradition, I didn’t go to Leroy Merlin. Instead I asked H to go. Mainly to buy walplugs for the plasterboard that we found in the bathroom - “caterpillars” to the French.
A lovely meal at Au Trois Arbres which is just over the rue from Gare Gore - the jazz club.
Got there in time for the first set from Rick Margitz (3rd time we’ve seen his group there). Flo left after the first set (work in the morning). H and I stayed for the second set which ended at midnight when the techno crowd arrives for their part of the evening. Very enjoyable music (he played with Miles Davies, you know) and evening in general. Walked back to Aubervilliers.
