Bus Stop…
… With optimism I waited for a bus this morning. Of course it didn’t come, there’s only a small part of useable icy road! And the route would go past the Cat and Fiddle (one of the highest old pubs in England, no longer a pub, sadly). The road was closed up there of course. Passers-by gave me sympathetic looks, as though I had been let out from somewhere. (Quite rightly).
I went home and had a nice coffee and a piece of cake instead.
The wine forecast (warming, red and fruity) was pretty spot on.
Happy Friday one and all.
Here’s to a new week.
