Blegh

The forecast sleet was heavier than I expected, leading to all the buses being cancelled and cars slithering around on the roads. It was slippery on the pavements too but I did make it into town to meet one friend for a trip round a gallery and lunch in another. Well worth it despite the deep slush.

Sadly the lights at the castle are cancelled tonight. But we can go another, drier evening.

Got home to find D preparing a roast dinner. Bliss
