Woke to a winter wonderland (extra) after the cold North air collided with the milder air on a South westerly breeze overnight. There has been a rapid thaw followed by continuous heavy rain.

Storm Bert has arrived wet but not yet windy. As I passed the park no one was out, no joggers, no dog walkers. But the landscape had an autumnal look that I wanted to capture. I got very wet in the minute I spent taking the main photo.

Overnight temperatures forecast to be 14 degrees.
