Slipper Orchid Bud ( Paphiopedilum maudiae )

I said yesterday i had an idea for a blip but I was saving it for a rainy day.  Well today was not nearly as bad as the weather forecast suggested but not good enough to attract me outside looking for a blip.  I got up to find about 2 or 3 cm (1") of snow and it raining.  The slush stayed until dark.

I bought this Pah at Beatham nurseries Orchid day in January 2020.  It was in flower at the time and so far it hasn't let me down every winter it has flowered and it looks as if it is going to again.

Currently I am spoiled for choice if I want an orchid shot.  My collection amounts to a dozen ranged across 5 or 6 species.  At the moment 7 of them are either in flower or carrying buds.
