River Brathay

We went down to Elterwater today and walked by the lake, along the river Brathay, (if you look large - you'll spot the moon in the top left corner of the photo). By Colwith Force, through Stang end and down to Slaters Bridge (extra).

Almost 7 miles - so up on mileage, but pretty flat, just gently undulating. The most difficult part was that last night we had freezing rain, so the whole walk was like an ice rink! 

A gorgeous, but very cold, day.
