Despite the rain we wrapped up and wheelbarrowed the last of the rubble down to the workshop base. Hopefully tomorrow the weather will be kind and The Rev can get the cement mixer going!!!
We investigated the cost of stain glass windows for the front door and the porch…between £400-£2000!!!!! Quite a bit more than we anticipated so we need to have a good think.
We had a second viewing on our current home which was good but so far haven’t heard anything :((
In the afternoon we came indoors to cap the only room that won’t be affected by our building plans!!! I sanded down and The Rev painted the ceiling and skirting boards whilst I popped up to Mum’s for a cuppa.

It’s very windy tonight. Storm Bert is definitely making his presence known!!!
